Why FamShare

The major social platforms were most interested in an internet land grab. They broke trust, privacy boundaries and norms. These platforms discovered that engagement metrics and advertising revenue increase when you surface content that triggers strong emotional responses. The business model requires it.

Family memories don't need engagement optimization. Your family secret cinnamon toast recipe doesn't need to compete for attention against rage bait. The conversation about your kid's first day of school doesn't need to be analyzed for ad targeting.
